My father inspired me to be an entrepreneur, seeing him make business deals and contracting with people seemed very exciting to me, and I wanted to do the same thing but on a bigger scale. I joined the business as president in 1984. I started when my father was still in charge, but I took control on my own in 1987, and I grew it from an 8,000-square-foot facility to a 74,000-square-foot facility with plans to build a 250-room hotel (Marriott) in the next two years. Over the years the venue grew from 8,000 to over 34,000 square feet of function space. Today, the venue is known as Chateau Le Jardin Conference & Event Venue and is a dominant player for weddings and corporate events.

In 2009, I launched Long Valley Productions (LVP). Currently under LVP, there are two industry-related businesses: 1) Find a Banquet Hall, an online directory for venue searches; 2) Last Bride Standing, a TV series presently running in the U.S. In 2010, I took over the management and operation of the Capitol Event Theatre in Toronto, bringing over 25 years of expertise in catering and hospitality to this unique historical venue. Since acquiring the Capitol, I and my management team consistently execute the highest standard of service and food quality.
